Fun In The Sun, Majors Tour, May 23-24
The Club Races will count toward the 2020 SWRRC Points Championship and will count toward participation for the 2020 Divisional Runoffs Qualification path, plus Southern Conference Majors points. Only 2 races are Majors races, the third (Sunday afternoon) is a regional race that counts towards SWRRC points.
SCCA Regional Event Weekends: If a Region holds a Majors event with a Regional‐sanctioned run group and a driver participates in both the Majors and Regional run group in the same Runoffs‐eligible class, only Majors credit will be earned toward qualification. Regional events must occur between January 1, 2020 and a date not less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the Runoffs (September 21, 2020) and may be in any division. Excludes Enduros.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the suspension of non-urgent healthcare visits at this time, the requirement for a physician approved SCCA medical form has been temporarily waived. If you have not experienced any significant change in your health and fitness, please complete a new Applicant’s Medical History Form (download pdf form here) and submit it as you would your SCCA Medical Form. This will extend the current medical on file for your renewal period. Once your healthcare provider resumes normal physical exam appointments, please complete and submit a signed SCCA medical form and we will update your record accordingly. Currently, this waiver applies to license renewals only with an expiration date of on or before May 31, 2020. This is for RENEWALS ONLY whose license and medical have not lapsed for more than 6 months.
May 30-31, 2019

Vehicle Eligibility and Information
VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY: Competition is open to all vehicles conforming to the National Time Trials Classes.
DECALS for National events: All cars must have Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials National Tour decals and any required partner decals visibly placed on each side of the vehicle and a Tire Rack windshield banner at the top of the front windshield. Decals will be provided free of charge and may be obtained at registration and/or tech. A diagram of sticker placement for Time Trials National Tour events can be found here: Time Trials National Tour Decal Placement. A diagram of sticker placement for Time Trials Nationals can be found here: Time Trials Nationals Decal Placement.
TECHNICAL INSPECTION: All vehicles must be presented at tech to turn in tech forms and pass the event safety inspection (Tech) if required prior to any on-course participation. Tech may also check event sponsor decal requirements and verify compliance of Vehicle Identification. Competitors are cautioned that color combinations such as red/black, red/blue, and white/silver do not have adequate contrast.
TIMING & SCORING: All cars are required to use fully operational MyLaps/AMB TranX260 or X2 transponders. The driver is responsible for providing correct information to Timing & Scoring. Non-functioning transponders will likely result in the loss of times.

COVID-19 has had—and continues to have—wide-spread impacts to SCCA events and operations across the country, including the ability for our workers to support events and earn membership discounts this year. We wanted to reduce that impact, so we’ve created a “Bonus VIP event” to help members retain some level of VIP participation. Following the steps below will add the event to your profile and provide a bonus two-days worked to your total for the year.
The minimum number of days needed to reach the $15 discount level is 4 days, so this will require members to work at least 2 days.Deanna Flanagan Director of Road Racing | Sports Car Club of America
The Southwest Division of the Sports Car Club of America (known as "Area 7") is made up of 9 separate SCCA regions in the Southwestern part of the U.S. Our purpose is to provide an information source for members of all the regions contained herein, with special attention being paid to the volunteer Club Racing Officials, whom we could not conduct Club Racing events without.
Racers from all over the state of Texas and Louisiana come together for Club Racing events and many regional autocrossers cross-pollinate to other regions outside there own. We hope to foster this behavior and increase the opportunities to members and regions of this division.
